Excel Batch Import – How It Works
Need to import multiple employees at once? Here’s how:
✅ 1. Open the Import Menu
📥 Download & fill in the template
- The “User Groups” tab helps organize employees:
📊 Assign budget limits
🏢 Allocate cost centers
👥 Define approval roles
➡️ Important: Groups must be created under “User Groups” before importing.
✅ 2. Upload Data
📌 Tip: The "Manager" role in onyo allows users to approve or reject orders, regardless of their job title.
⚠️ Warning: Do not rename the worksheet in the import file!
✅ 3. Preview & Verify
🔎 Check the changes in the preview before applying them.
📌 Required Fields:
✉️ Email address
👤 First & last name
🛠 Role
✅ 4. Start the Import
🚀 Click “Import” to complete the process!
💡 Additional Tips:
📅 “Activate from” lets you schedule employee activation for a later date.
📩 If the “Send Welcome Email” option is enabled, employees will automatically receive a welcome email on their activation date.
🗑 Deleted Users: If employees are missing from the new Excel list, they will appear under “Deleted Users”. Want to keep them? Simply enable “Do not delete”.
