Trackball Logitech Mouse is not working

Issues with Logitech Mouse

A common issue with the trackball could be that it needs cleaning. Try gently pushing the trackball out from the bottom with your finger or a pen. Then wipe it thoroughly with a clean cloth and reinsert it. Check if it works again.

If the trackball still doesn’t respond, the problem may be a disrupted connection between the trackball and the Unifying receiver. Possible causes include:

  • Low battery
  • Switching the Unifying receiver to a different USB port
  • Using the Unifying receiver on another computer
  • Connecting the receiver to a USB hub, KVM switch, or unsupported device (Receiver must be plugged directly into the computer)
  • Using it on metal surfaces
  • Interference from other devices (e.g., wireless speakers, power supplies, monitors, mobile phones, garage door openers)

Try eliminating these possible causes. If the trackball still doesn’t work, please contact us so we can assist with troubleshooting.
